I am the founder and executive editor of Philip Roth Studies, a peer-reviewed semiannual journal published by Purdue University Press in cooperation with the Philip Roth Society. It welcomes all writing pertaining entirely or in part to Philip Roth, his fiction, and his literary and cultural significance.
The journal publishes both full-length articles as well as shorter notes. Essays should be between 4,000-8,000 words in length, and notes should not exceed 2,500 words. A brief abstract (approximately 100 words) should accompany each submission. Manuscripts and book reviews must be prepared according to the MLA Style Manual and Guide to Scholarly Publishing, 3rd ed. (2008), and should contain endnotes rather than footnotes. All submissions must be sent via email as an attached document. Please address all submissions and queries to me at rothstudies_AT_rothsociety.org.
